Keymark has recently completed several major extrusion press upgrades in both it’s NY and FL facilities…
In NY, a new log saw replacing a conventional log shear has been installed and it was accompanied by a new billet loader to the 9″ extrusion press.
In FL, an entire new PLC control system has been installed replacing the existing one on one of the 7″ presses. A new log saw and loader has also recently been installed on the 10″ 3,000 ton presss. An automated caustic die cleaning system has been installed replacing the existing conventional caustic bath die cleaning station.
These exciting new upgrades will allow us to keep up with the production demands and quality requirements necessary to service our extrusion markets.
